Had a massive flounce over basically nothing, then insisted that Bozza manually went through and deleted every single one of his posts because NSC was “profiting” from all the “revenue” through clicks that his posts brought in. This included some threads with thousands of posts such as the Netflix one. I understand this was a massive ball ache and very time consuming to do.

Then he just came back under his current username without a word of apology, acted like nothing happened, had several more flounces until he got his account restricted.

And now we’re here.

Unless I am being wooshed here, Is it? Mob rule, trial by public opinion? Seems a bit unfair. All too easy for anonymous internet users to pile in to another anonymous internet user but none of us are perfect and there is always more to a person than their online ‘persona’. Surely not for other members to decide someone should be banned? - I can’t see how that would create a ‘happy’ place for any of us or enable an environment where it felt ok to voice minority/unpopular opinions (or write long posts ).

@Bozza stated at the beginning of the thread that the OP has been ‘unbanned’ - really stupid thread altogether imo and who the fcuk in their right mind starts a poll asking members if they think they should remain banned ? But afaics - Mustafa I-XII (or whatever number we are on now) hasn’t done anything on this thread to warrant a reversal.

I've been a valuable contributor the website for over 20 years. The thread might seem stupid, but is it really stupid if it works?

For what it's worth - the ban happened because, rightly or wrongly, I criticised the quantity of band related threads on the board and suggested a separate forum, which didn't go down well with the userbase. The site reacted by creating a 'Band Stand Chat' banner at the top of the page. I then figured, f*** it, when in Rome, and started a very successful thread about Bjork... I wasn't trolling or anything, I genuinely love Bjork and figured it would be an interesting thread, which it was. Either way, one of the moderators took exception to this and applied the ban, and the rest is history.

Throughout my years here I have genuinely always tried to remain inoffensive and I think I'm generally successful in doing that, but nobody's perfect.

I don't feel bullied or attacked by the poll results or comments. Like others have suggested, it's just anonymous people doing anonymous things in an entertainment/pantomime environment and I can see why I am perceived to be the villain.

I'd be happy to see the thread sink the the bottom, and for normality to resume as I continue to post exceptional Albion related posts and content.

I admire your thick skin - personally I would find it difficult to be at the receiving end of public attempts to assassinate my character/posting behaviour but that’s just me - far too sensitive probably

Rare (finding diamond among glass is an exceptional outcome)
Good (that shot was exceptional)
Bad (that Ulloa penalty was exceptional)
Consistent (every time Locardia shoots, he misses)
