His inabillity to conduct contract negotiations, and the sacking of Wilkins.

People close to the club I have met and spoken to speak of his arrogance.

Inability to conduct contract negotiations? In what way is he unable to conduct them?

The sacking of Wilkins? Do you KNOW the exact reasons why?

People close to the club? There are people 'close to the club' who would say exactly the opposite to you.

He should have gone years ago, when the truth comes out about him many lickers will be eating humble pie for months to come

And you have all the credibility on the issue of Gary Glitter addressing a UNICEF conference. Only less funny.

I still don't understand. The board has been responsible for running the club, so why do you think that DK should go, but one of the others would be OK?
It's very evident you don't understand because that's not what I said. :) For one thing I have not said "I think DK should go". Decisions are taken by the board, but the chairman's job is surely to lead the board and as such he takes the criticism when they make bad decisions.

But anyway, I was simply trying to cut through some of the bluster. If Dick Knight decided to resign, the club would not collapse. It's simply nonsense. It was here before he came along, he took over at a very dark time and should always be held in high regard for what he did for us, when he does leave someone else will take up the reigns.

Dick Knight should have stepped down when the board could not afford to buy the striker we required to save us from being relegated from the Championship, at that time we would have been a prime club to be taken over, now it is probably too late.

Quick, phone the village, I've just found it a new idiot

Can only speak of my experiences and my belief.

We will agree to disagree.

My apologies.

I took your previous posts to mean that you blamed DK but not the rest of the board.

I agree with what you said above and hope very much that, when DK does eventually stand down, we have someone who is willing and able to take over and take the club forward.
