What a pile of crap...........people on here spouting off that DK should go...making the main reasons being the treament of Wilkins (who a lot of fans thought his time had not come yet and a BIG name was needed) and the appointment of Adams (who most thought was a God )
And as for reinstating Wilkins..........who can say he would be a cast iron improvement on our current form. In my opinion Knight is not unaccountable but surely unless we find ourselves in a worse position than when he took over.........he stays.....he deserves it and there is no better alternative.. so now you........easy poll......Knight Resign......Yes/no

Of course he shouldn't but a bit of humility sometimes, wouldn't go amiss

I can honestly say I don't think I've read more than 3 people on here saying DK should go. Could you tell me where you see others calling for his head?

No, because I'd rather have a shit football team than none at all.

No, as much as I want him gone when hes had his moment at Falmer (should a new bloke be on the sidelines with money that is) I do NOT want him to go before then, he deserves his moment of glory.

Two reasons why I have voted no.

The first has been succinctly put by RM-Taylor, a few posts above.

Secondly, who would realistically take over from DK?

No No and No! If it wasn't for Knight you wouldn't be here slagging the club off. Knight was the saviour of this great club. They should erect a bronze statue of him at Falmer.

Secondly, who would realistically take over from DK?

Little known fact: The conga line of dodgy emirs, Russian petro-spivs, pop stars and American millionaires just dyingto sink their millions into a loss-making, struggling third division club, but for Dick Knight's intransigent refusal to step aside, can actually be seen from the International Space station.

There may be an argument for uncoupling more thoroughly the business and football sides of the shop -- the Steinbrenners, pere et fils, haven't done the Yankees much good on the field, whatever they may have done to the club's books, e.g. -- but that's a separate issue.

:lolol::lolol:Quite brilliant, a serious contender for post of the year - do you mind if I nick it for my signature?

He shouldn't resign, but perhaps time he took a step back from the football side to concentrate on Falmer.

Mmm, I think you'll find that's why he employs two chief executives, and not two chairman.

Martin Perry is in charge of Falmer (fair enough) but Ken Brown seems to do the boring (though no doubt important) day to day stuff while Dick flies back and forth from Spain.

From what I understand most of the money now comes from the Blooms, so is it not time for Dick to sit back and concentrate on Falmer?

He has worked so hard to get this stadium and who could deny him his moment of glory. Certainly no one on this board.

I think you'll find he has one or two detractors on here...and that doesn't even include bhadeb and all of her many aliases.
