If Lewis is 100% match fit then he should 100% start against Palace.

If there's even a slight doubt then it's bench at best.

No, but……..

You have to define ‘fit’ a little more precisely.

Webster always looks a bit shit when he comes straight back from injury, I suspect Dunk would be the same. I’m very uncomfortable with us throwing him into the Palace match (in particular) having not played a single minute of competitive football for so many weeks. With Burn and Veltman in such good form, we don’t need to rush our captain back. What’s wrong with the team that played so well against Chelsea or Everton?

The bench and maybe a subs appearance for me.

Brighton factually.....
100% fit, then yes.

I very much doubt he is 100% fit though, so nope.

If 80-90% fit then he has to be at least on the bench, just to have him pitch side, getting the players wound up is essential.

Can't see him starting a game straight away after a several-week layoff - it's just not the way we do things with injured players. Burn has also been fantastic in the centre the last couple of games in particular so no real concerns.....also it's not necessarily down to Dunk (more the midfield movement and formation I think) but we've looked more dynamic going forward from defence whilst he's been out. Great problem for Potter to have when he's ready.

BDB deserves to keep his place imho.
BDB has been our best player since Christmas.
It would be harsh to drop him.
Can't see Dunk being match fit, and don't want to risk him in such a game.
Bench as best for the captain
