If we don't sell out.Don't know they are there and cause no agro.
Where is the problem? How would we know if they don't celebrate when they score ? Let the stewards do their jobs.

i wouldnt be happy if i hadnt been there and found out afterwards that an away fan was in a seat i couldve occupied theres suppose to be thousands of Albion fans that cant gettickets to home games so either this is IMHO a total pack of lies or visiting supporters are robbing true Albion of seeing their club play at home.

I do not support the viewpoint that away fans should be allowed into Withdean HOME END

NO WAY NO CIRCUMSTANCES!

I can't remember the last time I went in the Brighton end at an away game. Oh yes I can. Cheltenham 2000.

It's the only chance I've got of seeing an away game given that our travelling support is SUPERB and sells out quickly.

If people just sit there and enjoy the game, have a chat if appropriate, it makes for a quality 90 mins.

No.

I'm normally a passive bloke. But I was well pissed off when they two infront of me celebrated their goals.

Generally they shouldn't but if we don't sell out games then at least we get some more money.

However tends to end up in trouble.

"Why not? We don't sell out " - THATS NO EXCUSE (and i thought you were sayng Trigger there aint enough tickets to go round for Albion fans?)

I wonder if you have voted INSIDER? if so please confirm what the official club response is? Do they endorse this? Maybe this shouuld be on the ask the club forum but if you can respond here please do Insider.

Thanks to all that voted, good to see so many disgusted by the thought of Away fans sitting next to them, long may the Home end remain for true ALBION fans like myself and many thousands of others only!

what an utter disgrace Away fans in the home end, would these Albion fans be so keen on them being there when they start to cause the problems as discussed elsewhere on this board? When it all kicks off against Millwall or Leeds? The stewards should be doing more to ensure only true Albion fans are sitting in the home end and the club should be condemming away fans entering the home end, WHERE IS AN OFFICIAL INSIDER CLUB STATEMENT ON THIS MATTER?

wherever the money is
No they should not.
1) there is always the opportunity for trouble to arise.
2) if things are thrown the the home end it is us that can get fined ( that goes for racial slurs as well )
and 3) how can we justify selling ticets to away supporters and then tell home supporters that we have sold out :nono:

It's very easy to get official tickets if you have a local address. My pal (QPR) got 2 tickets for the south stand through the club and lives in brighton. He couldn't believe he'd get them as he thought we'd sell out, he also applied for tickets through QPR and got them.

Absolutely not. You cannot put a price on safety.

Look around you on a match day, we have children to consider in every block at Withdean. It's not only because of the away fans that might find their way in, but our own fans who may well respond to taunts (as per that idiot on Saturday) or celebrations, etc. Innocent people young and old could get caught in the middle of an escalating situation.

spot on. if we werent selling out bit chunks of the south stand then allocate them a block, but to sell just a few empty seats to away fans if we dont fill them doesnt seem worth it if you look at money brought in vs safety compromise

There's climbing on a soapbox, and there is pitching a tent on it and moving in.

C'mon FG, climb down and get over it. Despite what you may think, we are clearly NOT selling all the home tickets for Withdean games. In which case, if the away end is sold out, and the away fans are not going to incite the home fans around them, then it's more money to teh club.

Dunno if you've notice but we kinda need money right now.
