We have used the Bramber Dragon before - but with mixed results.

Takeaway please. I have had a look and there is a few - but I can't see any reviews. I had a search on here - but there was nothing obvious.

My personal choice would be Yellow River, opposite The Crabtree. Good value for what you get.

The Welcome House on Kingston Broadway is also very good.

If you decide to try one of these and don't like it, i'll apologise now.

Ta. I have seen the Yellow River - I don't remember it looking exactly enticing.

Yellow River (mentioned above) is always good quality, although every time I phone regardless of the size of order it is always "10 minutes". Always ready when I go to collect!

For a more extensive menu choice, and arguably slightly better quality, I would recommend the Fortune Inn on Windmill Parade, Southwick. Slightly further afield but worth the extra 5 min drive + they deliver free to Shoreham. Enjoy!

Never tried their takeway but last sit down I had in there was bland + very overpriced (was a couple of years ago but bad enough to not return).

Avoid the Vietnamese. Food ok but ambience terrible .
Try the ROYAL SOVEREIGN. Great pub. The landlady is Thai and serves up brilliant food and a main courses are only about £6.50. Best to book up.

That is worth knowing. I was in a couple of months ago on a Friday night. It looks a decent boozer.

Sorry, but I think that's definitely the worst chinese I have ever had anywhere - I thought it was awful.

For relatively cheap & cheerful, try Tasty (01273 463428) for delivery. Welcome house up near Holmbush is ok. Jasmine opposite the hospital is reasonable. The one from Mile Oak delivers to Shoreham, but I've not tried it yet (someone from NSC delivers for them). Not sure if Oriental Village delivers to Shoreham. I used to like the Vietnamese in the high street, not it's not as good as it used to be.

Very popular with a few of my colleagues over that way. If you do my job, you want to go somewhere you're confident they won't gob in your food when you're not looking

Yes, it's handy, but that's all it's got going for it. I had one dish, that was "grainy" as though it had gravy granules in it.
