dont even THINK about going to the swiss cottage!!

it isnt a restaurant. its a pub where the bar staff put food in the microwave :)

A bit of a generalisation!

I've been there and my chips, steak and ice cream dessert had been nowhere near a microwave.

As someone who moved away from Shoreham in the mid 1980s - when there was a chippy and possibly a Wimpey bar, I find this thread quite extraordinary!

Is Shoreham High St some kind of cosmopolitan centre these days? I thought it was all traffic and dodgy pubs!

the Thai in the hight street was very good last time we went, its changed hands several times in the last fer years, but seems to have settled to a good standard.

Swiss is dreadful for food, don't go there otherwise 10 - 15 very disappointed people.

Cottage is superb for curry if that's your choice.

There is an Indian Restaurant in Soth Street Lancing where you can take your own alcohol. They are very happy for you to bring all you want and will supply glasses. It really cuts down the cost when you're as cheap as I am. Oh and the foods really good.
I think its called the Prith Raj (or the Raj Prith).
It will probably have loads of room.
