Shoreham Airshow this weekend

Without having to pay anything, we enjoyed wing walkers en route to the match and, on the return journey, whilst stopped at the lights on the A27 adjacent the airfield for a few minutes, were treated to a fantastic display as Spitfires and ME 109s re-enacted a dog fight passing just 100' or so above the seagulls coach.

No the Typhoon, fantastic & a very good shout for the pilot having the best job in the World I'd say...
the Vulcan which has sold the tickets for the last 12 months pulled out 2 days ago due to technical problems, the same excuse they gave 2 years ago, with a days notice...naughty

That was a shame, I was waiting for it. The Typhoon was pretty good though. Some of my childhood memories are of the Vulcan at the airshow as I grew up about 200 yards from the airport, and it always flew very low, straight over us. One of the loudest noises I've heard.

Watched from Longshore. Many disappointed Vulcan didn't turn up but typhoon put up a good finale.

Do you think their disappointment was moderated slightly by the fact that most probably didn't contribute much to the £12k it costs to book it?
