The Card Factory in Watford, just finishes me off.
Standing in the queue with my wife behind some old crud who stinks of piss whilst talking to themselves.

God I feel better for that :wozza:free psychology on NSC

Especially Station/Boundary Rd ... makes me shiver just thinking about it.

Was going to be my answer too. I found myself working from home today and totally without butter, clothes washing tabs and bin bags. The Boundary Rd Tesco was the nearest place to have all three that I didn't have to drive to. Dear God, where do you start? The blackboard by Fruit n Veg that some new trainee middle manager clearly wrote up as a training exercise on a "display your passion for produce" training course and that hasn't been touched again since? A seasonal goods section awash with tacky Halloween costumes for overweight five year olds who are still going to struggle to fit in them once they've consumed the contents of their bright orange, plastic "pumpkin"? The fact that it seems compulsory for half the staff to be outside smoking instead of serving on the tills? The fact that said staff always seem to be guarded by pitbulls? The fact you can't even peruse the distinctly average wine section without getting knocked over by a hyperactive Tyler who's mother is filing a basket with discounted WKD?

It's grimmer than the Crossharbour Asda and that's another place I regularly set foot in that makes me worry for the human race.

Marks & Spencer at Holmbush. Not really a lot of time, but it's all relative - 10 minutes a month is about 10 minutes too many.

Horribly laid out, big pillars all over the place which mean you can't see where the bit of the store is that you need to be in, and full of people that think they are better than everyone else.

The food 'court' is ok, but that's about it.

I find the whole of Holmbush the most depressing place on Earth. It really is a miserable shithole full of *******s.

This would be quite true if Boundary Road Tesco's didn't exist. They should hang that 'Welcome To Hell' banner outside the both of them.

Exactly this... Outside this shop will be the last place on Earth to have smoking banned. It will be banned in public places, private homes and the moon before anyone has the nerve to take on the 20+ stone women stood outside blocking the entrance and tell them they can't smoke.
