What a mixture?
Chilli burgers were far too hot for my taste buds.
Grubbs tropical was nice- peanut butter and pineapple.

David Rose - the only shop I'll miss.
Shame. Very useful - recently got specialist bits in there.
Not another coffee shop, or a place selling posh mugs, candles and lamps, next.
Lastly, Virgin megastore in Western Road. spent many hours / pocket money in there, browsing the records, posters etc.
I notice "Bench" on the corner of North St and West St has closed - did they go bust
A few years ago everyone seemed to be wearing their clobber, all I bought was a pair of shorts their once - had trouble getting them to stay up
That eccentric hobby-shop Valelink in Queen Street run by the rather contrary John Trory. Always good for a rummage and a laugh at his "political uncorrectness".

Was it Di Marco Bros. or similar along London Road opposite St. Peter's Church? Used to do a glorious whippy ice cream dipped in choccie hundreds & thousands.
