From BBC

Reports on French TV say that a woman in the building had a suicide belt and has blown herself up. The reports are still unconfirmed.

At least seven explosions have been heard since early on Wednesday morning at the scene of a police standoff in Saint Denis, AP reports.

It made me wonder what Muslim female "Martyrs" are promised when they go to "heaven"? The Dreamboys?

Pakistani Public Opinion

I was sceptical about this, not least because you have to read the linked article to provide the context. It's also worth noting that your link is six years old.

So I have dug around and found this Gallup poll on Pakistani public opinion for the death penalty dated September 2015:

http://gallup.com.pk/wp-content/uploads/2015/09/Death-penalty-Report-Final6.pdf

It's interesting. Whilst you're right, support for these backward laws is high by our standards, it is also reasonable to say that the death penalty and harsh laws is supported across the board. And furthermore, there is a huge public opinon chasm between people in urban areas and people in the Pakistani countryside.

The findings scream that life is cheap in that backward country more than anything else, and it certainly isn't fluffy.

* The Paris prosecutor's office said fingerprints from the dead attacker matched those of a person who came to Europe with migrants via the Greek island of Leros. The man may have been posing as a Syrian refugee.
Records from Leros suggested he arrived on 3 October and was fingerprinted and photographed. An official there remembers the man arriving, and told the BBC's Gabriel Gatehouse that something did not feel right about him - he kept himself to himself. He said he would have highlighted his concerns to an intelligence officer, had there been one there.
Leros authorities say they simply do not have the resources to screen all the migrants effectively - or even check whether passports are genuine.

Perhaps if the EU had given Greece some slack with their debt, they could've employed and deployed enough staff to do this.

A teacher at a Jewish school in the southern French city of Marseille has been stabbed by three people who shouted anti-Semitic insults at him.

One of them was wearing an Islamic State (IS) T-shirt, Marseilles prosecutor Brice Robin told Reuters.

Police said the teacher's life was not in danger. A hunt is under way for the attackers.

It comes as France is in a state of emergency after attacks in Paris on Friday killed 129 people.

IS has said it was behind the Paris attacks.

Police said the attack on the teacher, who is Jewish, happened at about 20:00 local time (19:00 GMT).

Mr Robin said three people on two scooters had approached the history teacher in a street and then "insulted, threatened and stabbed their victim in the arm and leg".

"They were interrupted by the arrival of a car and fled," he said.

One of the men showed a picture on his mobile telephone of the Islamist militant Mohamed Merah, Mr Robin added.

Merah killed seven people in attacks in south-western France in 2012, before being shot dead by police. His victims included three children and a teacher at a Jewish school.

The Jews have been targeted by Muslims (some) in France for a long long time before this attack, just had little press coverage.

I am not quite sure of your point, are you just offering up some current profiling, or are you trying to unsuccessfully show that migrants from Syria or other have no bearing on current events ?

Er...yeah I was trying to unsuccessfully show that migrants from Syria or other have no bearing on current events...job well done then...

Actually just sharing - thought it was a succinct way to present info - make of it what you will.

Not the real one
Just 30,000 to go

Quite possibly x10 that figure. But that was a quick wasn't it. Goes to show that if the western authorities really do want to catch or kill extremists in their own country, it's quite possible to do so. No one does because of uproar from the public and Muslim groups. However, after Paris the Muslim groups and leaders have gone very very quiet and the public in the west are now all for the authorities going in and getting these people. Let it calm down for a few months, the nerve will break and we'll be back to not having the balls to deal with terrorists on our doorstep once more.

They've done it under a State of Emergency though. I think what you've said at the end is inevitable unless they keep a permanent State of Emergency. I'm not sure I'd like that at all.

Your completely right, it's pretty pathetic that political correctness will be placed higher than the security of our countries. Whatever they like to tell us, the problem is within the religion, the religion is in a mess and I don't see anything changing. They will just keep allowing more and more people to flood in to the EU, which will also drag all the political, cultural and religious problems. This is why people are starting to protest, they feel uncomfortable with the rate of change and are starting to feel unsafe.
