I thought you werent allowed to pay anyone under 16 a salary - remember Rooney was on 70 quid a week before Everton could sign him to a grown up contract?

£4,000 = 400,000p = 1,600,000 fruit salads per week.

Maybe it's a contract for when he reaches 16? Or maybe there are ways around the rules re paying schoolkids.

Either way, he must still be in full time education, must be fun being in his class
