It's a valid point. I think there should be one simply because it's an historical site, a bit like they put blue plaques on houses where famous people have lived. A lot of people don't give a toss that Charles Dickens lived for six months in a bedsit on Ditchling Road*, but they still mark the spot.I'm not trying to win anyone up on here but why should there be a memorial. Yes, it means a lot to people on here but you have to face that a lot of people don't really care about the Goldstone, Archer or the shitty circumstances which resulted in the loss of th eground. To a lot of folks it is a carpark and a Toys R Us and nothing else I'm afraid.

I would guess that the majority of people in UK knows who Brian Clough is, I doubt many of the UK population could name anyone connected to The Albion.

How about a statue of fans, like on the cover of build a bonfire?
