Look, we all moan about the supposed lack of commercial dynamism within the club. Hey presto, a little idea which could net the club an extra couple of grand, and it gets a predictable response. Although I'm not tempted, I don't blame the club for trying. In fact, I commend them for the initiative.

Is there no discount on these for Season Ticket Holders?... Disgraceful if they have to pay the same price as Away Members.

I thought they all swapped their shirts with the West Ham players at the end of the match?

£100! And they lost!

I have Virgo's shirt from the play off final in 2004. Not signed but maybe I ought to sell that?! AT least we won that game!

Most of them did swap shirts.

I remember seeing Carlos Tevez in his vest and thinking that some day, at the end of his long career, he'll look at his collection of World Cup memorabilia, trophies and medals and think

"aye caramba, Kerry Mayo!"

No doubt it'll be in pride of place :lolol:

Knew the Albion would do this- when I read the Millwall programme, you could see the commemorative embroidery on the shirts. Bit lame really, but who can blame them in our financial situation.

Sometimes the club does overestimate the generosity of fans though, It seems to be an assumption that Albion fans will part with cash for anything because we're lucky to still have a club to support. I dont mind parting with cash but I just wish the club would do the same in regards of bringing a few much needed players in to the squad.

I saw the pictures from the game in Saturday's programme and pointed out to my brother that they were embroidered with the fixture details and that we obviously were going to sell them if we'd won.

Sadly I was mistaken...a fine piece of Albion history.

Nice idea but I cant see someone buying an Arsenal loanees shirt worn against a Premiership side in a 3-0 defeat for £100! The fact that you have a 50/50 chance that the shirt you will buy will have been worn during the game really wont tempt many people to part with their money.

A) Of all the shirts that could possibly be of value, I would have thought that the Arsenal lad would be THE shirt!

B) Who cares about the 50/50? Who is going to be able to tell if it was worn or not, or want to discriminate, as long as it was the player-in-question's shirt?

Lil Coach got his white albion shirt signed by Sir Bobsworth of Z', who was more than happy to do so and ruffled his hair.
Please dont hit me!
I might get it framed somewhere for his wall, because he doesn't want to wear it and get it ruined. One wear! What good value!
