Here is my view on the club creat, unashamedly ripped from another thread:

As for the round badge, I'm unsure. I would like to see the crest changed when we move to Falmer - sort of like a new start. Our current badge I will always consider to be our 'Withdean' badge and, as such, I would like to see it used for next season and then dumped. I think we should be looking for a new design badge when we move to Falmer, not an old design round crest. Falmer, for me, is all about looking to the future and not trying to replicate the past.

A new take on the round badge is needed. I agree that Falmer is a new start but it also heralds in Albion's return to being a proper football club the like of which we where when we had the round badge.

So I say bring it back but update it somehow?

we just need the seagull, we don't need anything else.

we should have a big fat seagull, and then somewhere else, very subtle like, BHAFC in italics/caligraphy like the 60's shirt.

then use a variation of the twin crests as the offcial club badge for letterheads and what not.

this will not happen, but hey-ho.

I actually like the shield.

The circular badge to me, just reminds me of the dark days at the Goldstone under C###chops ruining the gloss that we almost made it to the top level of English football again.

Interesting how we all view it differently...I immediately think of Horton, Lawrenson, Ward and the glory days of promotions up two divisions to the top flight. I don't like the shield - never have done, I don't know why but I think it looks a bit amateurish. I would love to go back to the roundel - but agree it needs to be updated.

I'd vote Round badge every time in a poll.

I loved the twin crest shirt as well, be nice to get that involved some how , even as a big mural type thing on the side of the stand perhaps

I prefer the round badge generally, but if we changed it would make me look a bit of a numpty with a tattoo of the shield :(

While my preference is for a round badge compared to what we have, what has Derby County changing their badge got to do with us changing ours?

It just goes to show how cool ours looked beforehand that others have more or less copied it. I just don't like the badge. It needs updating and what better time than for the new move back into a permanent stadium? I think we could take the old circular badge and bring it up to date with some fairly straightforward graphic design.

Probably to do with when I started supporting the club (in the 90's). I'm only 30.
I expect the next generation up only have fond memories with the circular badge.
