For what it's worth this is my only experience of sherries / paradox. Sunday nights in the mid eighties the place was taken over by the guys- strange fruit? - anyway being I was into my music I heard that divine was playing - so booked tickets for my girlfriend and I. Wow now I'm a very open minded guy - but the place was so full on - guys doing anal , bj's and much much more!! Divine was great but how they got away with it at the time? Now inmy fifties and with many gay mates they tell me that Sundays at the paradox was the best place to be.

On a side note was once refused entry to Oriannos because I was wearing sandels...so decided to go to the escape club - meet the love of my life!!
