If guilty I would expect the FA to impose a tough sentence as this is one aspect that they are keen to remove from the game. Hopefully a high number of games banned rather than fewer games and a higher fine.
If banned he clearly won't be in Holloways updated team of the season at the start of 2017.

That's not a Holloway team. He plays with one goalkeeper, two defenders, two midfielders and 6 forwards

Tim Cahill is a very valuable player to have in your team because of his goals from midfield but I am not sure he was the most talented player in that Millwall side he played in. I think that honour goes to Richard Sadlier whose career ended early through injury.

Peoples choices are all subjective. Knockeart is one of the most gifted that I have ever seen in this division but I don't think anyone can claim who is in fact the best. Lots of top players also dropped into the Championship so Ollie talks loads a shite as usual making statements like he does about Shelvey being the best ever. He cant even get a proper job at the moment

Yes, great call, Prosinecki was a genius! A bit like Vicente he was on a different planet to every other player on the pitch.

He lived near me and at the time I was a student working part time in a video shop, he used to come in nearly every day and rent 2/3 films. Always smoking, bizarre fashion sense, but a lovely guy and a beautiful wife.

Back on topic, Shelvey is an excellent player - always thought he was under rated in the premier league, but he certainly isn't the best ever in this league. Holloway does get carried away at times.

On the whole, a really decent article that, but I don't recognize the Anthony Knockaert he describes, at all (except the last line). For me Knockaert is almost unique amongst hugely gifted flairmeisters, in that he is hugely hard-working, and unquestionably a 100% TEAM player.

Knockaert can be frustrating to watch, a man who looks as if he is constantly trying to score the perfect goal from the most preposterous angle, sometimes ignoring pleading colleagues. But every now and then he does score the perfect goal from the most preposterous angle and he is forgiven. He is probably the most naturally gifted player in the Championship.

I love Knockaert, and really do think his work rate is phenomenal, particularly the number of intensive sprints he gets through. Can he be improved though? If the answer is yes, then I'd suggest that at times he does need to be a little more aware of others when in dangerous positions. I do appreciate that there have been some amazing assists that haven't been taken (Kayal at home, earlier this season when he should have shot with his left foot, and came back inside on his right -- can't remember who this was against, Huddersfield maybe?), he is still yet to have a (direct) assist this season to the best of my knowledge. I'd be interested to know how many assists he was credited with last season (I can certainly remember two goals from brilliant counter-attacks, Zamora and Hemed in early 2016) but there are a few times where he tries to take on too much. On this (against Preston? certainly in the first half of a home game), there was a scenario when he hit a pull-back from Bruno wide, when Murphy was placed directly behind him and was arguably better placed to score.

With a bit of luck, this post won't be interpreted as criticism of Knockaert.

Shelvey is good, no doubt about it, awesome for the championship in fact.

But better than every player who's played in the second tier? Better than Fabrizio Ravanelli was? Better than Tim Cahill approaching his peak? Jamie Vardy? Better than Paul Merson and Robert Huth? All of these?

He's probably bang level with say Charlie Austin in my opinion, though that is still praise.
