I cant believe that people on here are suggesting bus shelters I would just ask 2 questions, Where do you put them and how long should they be as I waited over an hour for a P & R to Mithras House and there must have been 500 other people waiting so it would take a mighty long bus shelter to keep them dry.

Please?

Rome wasn't built in a day so patience is required. But after standing for forty minutes in driving rain last night, this would seem to be a very easy thing to improve just one small part of The Amex experience.

totally agree, wouldnt be very difficult/too costly to provide.

To those who reference getting soaked at withdean: that was impossible to solve, it would have been completely impractical and expensive to roof the 'stadium' to prevent soakings. the situation with the buses at the amex can be easily rectified.

Disagree, Bristol rovers manage perfectly well with a canvas roof.

Just put them on the 'islands' we stand on to queue for the buses. Simple affairs with centre poles and supports and stylish curved perspex style protection.

Glad you are obviously OK today. Good to catch up with you last night......and cheers for the ciggie. Will do my best to get it back to you when we play Barnsley. Just need the co-operation of the 100 supporters between us in our row to do the decent thing and...'pass it along , please'....LOL !

PS; Must admit when I heard you tumble, my immediate thought was...'' f***....40 minute wait in the pouring rain..........a bus route that has taken in every street from Falmer to Shoreham, ...........and now I,m going to be stuck here for another hour waiting for an ambulance to cart you off to hospital with a broken leg...'

Me, selfish..? Never...!

Yeah, thanks for the concern :wrong:

At least I had another ciggie when I got off the bus.

That would be good for the 50 - 100 on the island but what about the rest. By the time you have moved from waiting at the botttom of the stairs, up the stairs and then waited to go to the island you would have been soakedf if last night was any measure for the future.
