There's a rerun of a 1996 Family Fortunes on ChallengeTV, that would interest me more than the f***ing shite rugby.

That says a lot about you ..... got a new set of blinkers mate?....

Get a goal early in the 2nd half and you never know Wednesday might start to panic a bit and we can force them back (finger crossed and all that)

At least Mr Undroppable will be out out of the Hull game...

You mean Greer who's only out of the side today because of injury? You can't mean barnes, he has only started 22 of our 29 league games this season. That means he gets dropped on average once every 4 games. Not exactly "Mr Undroppable", is it?

Barnes is a tw@t... not a scapegoat... almost certainly cost us the game... still, at least we won't have to put up with him for 3 games...

Cost us the game? 73 consecutive league games since we come from behind to win, and we were already a goal down before he was sent off. The game was already gone.

Going to be a shit-storm on here tonight!

Indeed.

Or maybe people will just be genuinely angry that a side that on paper should be good enough for automatic promotion looks like not even making the play offs?

Then people are short-sighted. We are not the only team in the division with a side that a be described as "on paper should be good enough for automatic promotion". There is a wealth of value and experience in a lot of the teams in this division. We are not that special. We do not have qualities in abundance that aren't in equal or greater abundance at more than 5 other teams.

Barnes may have a temper, but he doesn't actually get as many reds or yellow cards for it as people think. Ths season and last he wasn't suspended for 5 yellows. That was only his second red card in his career. He was sent off once last season, and that was v Burnley where neutral BBC and Sky Sports reporters were surprised he was sent off as it looked like the burnley player (who then got up and grabbed him round the throat without punishment) was the one who lunged in, seemingly only the ref and the appeals committee thought it was a red, and Andy Naylor tweets it looked more like a yellow (co-commentator now saying clear red).

Not saying he hasn't deserved reds in the past and got away with it (he has), but reading some responses on here, you'd think he was averaging a yellow card every game, and getting sent off a couple of times a season.

Seems the Barnes tackle was a shocker and deserved the red. He is a silly boy sometimes

...stuck record comes to mind.

Better than being a hypocrite and shifting my view from week to week..... but my record is thankfully stuck in the right spot.

I don't know the exact statistics but what are the odds of an away team winning with 2 goals down 1 man down?....I'm just hoping for a fight back in the 2nd half with an all out attack nothing to lose mentality.

need a burnley "great escape" performance, sleeves rolled up and scap, no second half tippy tappy across the back

That sounds suspiciously like a plan B, you do realise Gus doesn't do plan B's, it'll remain the same old story trying to pass it into the net without any success and a likely Weds third goal from nothing or a mistake.
