Agreed, but just for future reference as I have done the match thread very frequently for the past few seasons. What the f*** do NSC think the title is meant to consist of apart from teams, OFFICIAL and asterisk's?

Whenever I complain about the thread title, my tongue is planted firmly in cheek.

-there's a section of poster who feel the title shouldn't have asterisks.
-Some believe the asterisks should surround the entire title, not just "official thread"
-Some demand correct capitalisation.
-Full team names or accepted names (i.e. Manchester United or Man Utd, Brighton and Hove Albion F.C. or Brighton, and or & etc.)
-there might be disagreement on the number of asterisks.

It's a very tricky thing.

And no, I don't believe words on a website affect results, but then there are so many many people within the game and within the fanbse who have their own superstitions, who am I to judge?

This will be a good test. They have lots of experienced players (i.e. old).

The word official thread was used regularly by some prat as a joke, as it contained the names of the match officials. Very funny.:tosser:

The thread starter should include the names of the ***Officials*** in the text (message section).
