I guess a few people might be drawn because they are 1) the 'big' club relegated from the Championship and 2) we haven't been to Hillsborough for a while.

I could see us taking 2,500 ABSOLUTE max.

Think about it, thats more than we got at a couple of home games last season, you seriously think its a question worth asking if anyone thinks we'll take 6000 fans 4 hours north on the M1, probably 5/6 hours on the coach, and a good 4 hours on the train.
Sorry, but come on for christs sake.

I see what your saying but surely Sheffield Wednesday is a bigger game than southampton?

I'd say not. If you asked me who I'd rather beat, then it would be 100% Saints. Also combine that with the extreme differene in distance and I'd say Saints is bigger.

f*** me, i'd be suprised if we took 1000, 1500 max.
We couldn't sell out 3k for Soton which our closest things to "rivals" in this league, fairly close and also with it being Poyet's first game, how some people think we will take more than 2k for a game much further away against a club who really mean nothing to us i don't know
