Compiling the fixtures for the whole season is quite complex , I think we might only be allowed to make 1 request beforehand and that is normally to be given an away game when Pride takes place. After the fixture list is announced that's when the shuffling takes place with re-arranged dates and kick off times for televised games , special events in the locality and "Derby" games.

What amazes me about this is that Freshers Day is going to happen every September on the Saturday just before the term starts why cant the club ask for an away game on that Saturday. As regards Owls talk if you object to it so much why not report it I just put it down to their ignorance and move on and don't log into it.

Why can't the home and away Sheffield games just be swapped?? We could play the home game on Saturday 2nd February just as easily as they can play the away game on Saturday 15th September.

The only slight problem is that would require us to play 4 away games in a row.

I had a look out of curiosity. There's a massive load of knuckledraggers on that forum. Surprised they're unhappy, Friday has less letters in it than Saturday, makes it easier to spell.

This, i mean i think Pride takes priority over a party with a few hundred students. Saw 1 poster on there who does speak sense (cant remember their name) but they tried explaining about it, was totally ignored of course.

As they have moved the fixture twice in 2 seasons you would expect the FL to realize, also first game is away this year so that week should be away or has it got out of sequence due to late season start date.

First game is away so Pride cant clash with a home game. If everything is reversed then we would of been away on the day of the Wednesday game. Should be alright next season as Pride will be back at the beginning of August and the season will start earlier.
