On the face of it, it is surprising there aren't more tickets sold for this game between two decent clubs.
But prices were set at £88, £64, £54, £44 and £34 for a League One play-off final. That is about the same as the Championship play-off final, and in my view way too high for a 90,000-capacity stadium.
It isn't Wembley that set the prices for this (although I'm sure they have influence) but the Football League, so it looks to me as if they got this one badly wrong, since a lot of the seats people want to sit in are at those higher-end rates.
In the current climate, this idea that 'they're fans, they'll pay anything for a big day out' is not true, especially from up north with the extra cost of trains, petrol and maybe hotels.
Sheffield utd,?as a result they buy Hoskins and we buy Rhodes.... Perfect..
I'd like to think we've learned from spunking a load of cash on a striker who scored goals for fun in the division below. They can't always step up as CMS proved.
