That link appear to be broken?
Yep, looked ok on my phone but it's not working now.

The report was

The paragraph I screen shot was

“We want six,” the delighted travellers yelled. “We want one,” came the lone cry of one particularly exasperated Sheffield United fan in response.

Note to self - post it this way first and don't try being clever.

Didn't Adam El-Abd take a stud to the thigh once. I'm sure there is a (not for the faint hearted) picture of the result somewhere.
It was against Southampton, at St.Mary's, and it was horrific. Ironically it was not an opponent's studs though - believe it was Calderon.

If you haven't watched it, MOTD2 on BBC iPlayer is a great highlights and analysis of the game. Only 2 games yesterday so quite a bit of analysis.

to be fair to them, pretty much all sheff utd fans on their forum seem to be agreeing it was clearly a straight red (apart from a couple of neanderthals obviously) and Holgate is nothing but a useless thug and he's like this every week

A Sheffield Unit post match review for those that are interested. Seemed pretty fair to me

A mate of mine broke his in a cycling accident: 6 months recovery including rehab to walk properly again 😬
I broke mine cycling 5 months ago, still hurts, i have a limp (possibly permanant) , doing physio every day, have metal rods inside the bone, it will improve some more, but it will never be the same again, some times by the end of the day I can barely get up the stairs. I was given an 8 month recovery time
Anyone who thinks this wasnt a possible career ending tackle , should give their heads a wobble. Its the most painful bone to break apparantly (trust me it hurts like hell) and Mitoma is very lucky to have come out of that relativly unscathed, rather than out of action for the rest of this season, most of next and possibly never playing again

The fact that this thug has been sent of for similar tackles before says all we need to know about him, it should be an extended ban

"On paper, it may look like Groß had just the one assist, but this was legitimately one of the best single-game performances of any player in European football this season – if not THE best." 😲

Terrific performance - but astonishingly, with room for improvement...

There were a couple of poor corners, and he probably ought to have scored in the first half at 2-0, when the ball was parried to him eight yards out (a very similar chance to the one that Welbeck scored).

This is funny, They were playing "Hove" apparently

They are correct, it was that kids fault for wearing new trainers, what was he thinking?

That was great.

Nice to see a matchday vlog that isn't just some charisma void babbling into his iPhone for seventeen and a half minutes.

Sorry to hear that - really bad luck for you. My mate tells me his recovery will be at 1 year in May 😬, and he's still on the physio also. So, yes, an extremely bad injury.
I've looked at a few different replays of Mitoma's incident, and it certainly seems that the main reason he escaped serious injury was that his leg wasn't firmly planted. Also (not to lessen the awful tackle) I think the top or side of the boot was the main impact...rather than direct studs.
Yeah, I remember seeing one of his red card tackles a couple of years ago... very unpleasant.
Keep up your physio (requires commitment and patience I'm sure) and I hope you recover as fully as possible 🤞🏻🤞🏻.
