I loved the Lamptey/Mitoma partnership whilst it lasted, it gives teams more to think about with Mitoma again.

It seemed teams had worked out how to mark Mitoma out the game this season, now with him coming inside with Lamptey on the wing it's freed Mitoma up a bit more.

Possibly, but no VAR and on-field officials may have given a red straight away. There's a feeling that they are tending to make conservative decisions initially, in the knowledge that VAR will step in, if required, even if it's subconscious.

I think he was genuinely blindsided. Would have needed the Lino to step in - way more of a lottery than VAR
