In this second half, I want us to pass with purpose. Quickly. Tire them out. Not so ponderous passes like JPVH has been specialising in today.

Oh and I want a f***ing clean sheet. Don't give away stupid fouls, stand up (JPVH, Lamptey, Dunk diving in for what?), protect your goal.

We always let other teams back in. Not today. They are f***ing shit. Bury them. If it's 2-0 with 80% possession so be it.

That’s a really poor performance. I hope RDZ rips into them. This game should be out of site and somehow they are still in with half a chance.
High standards from some of our fans these days…

RDZ maybe enjoying the goals but this has turned into a very high risk injury game for us so he will be looking at the broader picture. Mitoma could have sustained a career defining injury - a Red Card is not enough in those circumstances. Facu and Mitoma should come off imo - Lamptey too because he’s now wound up to the point of getting a second yellow. Let’s bring on Fergie and move Welbz out wide.
This - no need to risk players now.
Get Lamptey off for certain, as he's on a yellow now and they will be looking to get on the ref's back to even things up.

Attwell has been pretty decent tbh. Got the major calls right, used VAR and the monitor, happy to cnage his original decisions. Liked how he just stepped infront of Buonottee there at the end and stopped him getting into an Latino full bloodied argument
Got the major calls right? He gave a yellow for Holgate’s assault, missed a two handed push on Mitoma in the area and disallowed their ‘goal’ for the wrong reason! I mean, that might be a decent day by his standards but….

On top of the world
No VAR and Holegate is still on the pitch!
Possibly, but no VAR and on-field officials may have given a red straight away. There's a feeling that they are tending to make conservative decisions initially, in the knowledge that VAR will step in, if required, even if it's subconscious.

For me the current weakness with Ferguson is he doesn't chase things the way Welbeck and Pedro do, he isn't great at pressing and putting pressure on the defenders with the ball. In recent games when he has come on for either of them and gone up top with the other moving out wide, we have lost something and started to defend deeper.

So perhaps this is a great game for him to play. They will mostly sit back so we don't need to worry about the press etc., and maybe we'll see the best of him.

Wilder's post match interview will be interesting if we do actually win this. By interesting, I mean funny to watch that miserable dinosaur blow a gasket.
