Was wondering the same? Anyone know any from the FA Cup game?
We had a great time in the Rutland Arms, looks a bit shabby from the outside but great inside and a hidden yard/garden.

The Benjamin Huntsman is a tolerable spoons. No idea what it's like on a match day.
Would also recommend the Beer Engine, and on the other side of Bramall Lane the Sheaf View (decent Brighton turnout for the Cup Game) and Brothers Arms (basically just Blades fans in there for the cup game but it's only about 50yds further up the hill from the Sheaf View and has a good beer range at unreasonably low prices).

There were about 30 or so BHA in Beer Engine for the cup game. And a really supreme range of cask and keg ales.

Triple Point Brewery. About halfway between station and the ground. Large outdoor area and excellent beer.
There is a pub close to the ground called The Albion. It doesn't look that promosing from the outside, but it has a massive yard out the back, with some covered and heated seating areas. They serve decent looking Pizza out back and beer from a local independent brewer. No problem getting in and getting served for the FA Cup game.

From our weekend trip for the FA Cup I can highly recommend the following for cask ales.
Sheffield Tap at the train station.
Rutland Arms. Huge selection of cask & keg.
Lord Nelson is strictly home but try and sneak in, good beers.
We found the Triple Point Brewery too big and no atmosphere but will be different match day. No cask when we went.
Saturday night if making a weekend of it grab a taxi to the Kelham Island area-
Fat Cat, Kelham Island Tavern & Shakespeare's.

Second this though try and get there for opening, it's tiny! My dad and I turned up 15 mins after they opened and got the last table of two inside...We had a great time in the Rutland Arms, looks a bit shabby from the outside but great inside and a hidden yard/garden.

Triple Point Brewery was great (as mentioned by Falmer Flutter #8). Definitely a home pub, but a friendly one and noticed more than a few low-key Seagulls in there for the FA cup match. Trendy place inside and out (nice covered garden) and really decent beer/ale line-ups. Although was quite shocked to see some special IPA thing up for £6.80 ish a pint... in Sheffield!

The Globe was very funny, thanks in part to the 'dead celebrity' themed pub crawl stag do that were in there. I'm not sure I'd recommend it but it's certainly very away fan friendly and near the station. Better ales in other places named I'd think.
It's fine, but there are plenty of better pubs 10-15 minutes from the ground if you've the time and inclination to go to them.
In addition to the various other Brighton fans in there I got chatting to a bloke called Rob (I think - my memory of this stage of the day is a little hazy) who apparently lives just around the corner and seemed to be their Resident Brighton Fan. Nice guy.
If you're there early enough I do recommend the Brothers Arms as well - they're about 1minute walk from each other across a little park.
The Howard is the standard away fans pub, opposite the station. Welcoming if you want a Carling etc and a sing along. Coppers are often stationed outside there for big games.
Good shout on the Beer Engine- that was my local for a while with a great selection of beers and tapas. Terrace is nice. It's not a football pub though. Closer to bramall lane the other side of the ring road (there is an underpass right next to it)
The Sheffield Tap is also great in the station but they used to not accept football colours, don't know if that is still the case.

The Rutland is also a cracking pub (up from the station and left. Great music (famously Steve Lamacq's favourite pub), definitely has Prince Albert vibes. Again I've not been in a footballing capacity so don't know how welcoming they are.

We've been there the last two visits. In the garden for the last one but the sun was out. As soon as it dipped behind the pub became too cold.We had a great time in the Rutland Arms, looks a bit shabby from the outside but great inside and a hidden yard/garden.
