Anyone got a refund from when they cancelled their tickets. I haven't yet . . . . absolutely useless

Complained on the phone and the foreigners on the phone thought I was buying more tickets

We were told no refunds by midland mainline. Our deal was £70 for 4 from St Panc to Sheffield.

Not the end of the world but bloody annoying.

The Auditor wrote to Sky and the Football League complaining about the short notice and he was told sorry but tough. At least we got a point and saw the game on Sky.

How in God's name can tickets be unrefundable!? If you don't use them and want to cancel for your money back, why on earth can't you!?

Surely SKY must somehow be legally obliged to reimburse you? ???

No The Auditor got some bland reply basically saying tough luck boys. Auditor if your on I refer this one to you.

I passed the Robert about 8.30 after footy but was too sweaty to come in.

SL and Warrior on form, bet they enjoyed the 2nd half, thank god for Peacock's finishing

Don't you mean Greene Kings Old Bob?

The pump had Ridleys on it but I assume from your comment that they have disappeared into the Greene King black hole with a number of other indepenant breweries

BHAFC says its the league option on when games are played, the league say Sky control the schedule as part of the sponsorship deal and Sky dont give a f***..not replying to me emails. have taken the issue up with the Independent Football Commission...no reply yet...the loss of moey is not the real issue here...Sky can f*** the travelling fans around whenever it suits.

SL and warrior were like the footie ...subdued

Yup, they were bought out a couple of months ago and the brewery closed. The final brew was in September. The pump clips are exactly the same, other than the removal of "The Essex Brewer" text under the logo. Old Bob, Ridleys IPA and Prospect are being brewed in Bury St Edmunds on a rotating basis.

I still think that stinks big style. There's any number of reasons someone suddenly couldn't use a ticket. Not giving a refund of any amount is wrong. Plain wrong, I tells ya!

Many years ago we used to have an insurance against this sort of thing. ie Game gets called off you get your money back. I don't have the time, but what we need here is an official group ticket purchase for trips.

Some form of deal where you get discounted travel, are free to make your own arrangements, and if shit like this happens your money is protected.

Problem is we used to deal with BR which was simple. Now we are dealing with 12 train companies, some of which have their sales departments in India. Without being racist what is the point of doing this when some of the dumb fucks they employ havn't even heard of Manchester??

Open for discussion.

I agree Vicar - it still should not be that hard if you know the fixtures at the start of the season and the correct trains needed.
How to trainline.com do it? To get from Hassocks to York you have to use at least two different companies.

It shouldn't be our concern how the refund gets to us. We only pay the money to one company in the first instance, so it should be that simple getting your money back.
