When we were at Gillingham and Withdean I understood why players would choose other clubs over us. Since we moved to the Amex and started getting crowds in the mid 20,000s I never thought we'd see a two week period where not one but two players might prefer Bournemouth or Millwall over us :nono:

If we are to sign Williams it will again come down to wages with Millwall being more desperate I think they might offer more. Not sure playing under Holloway is a good move though

I guess some players would see Millwall's profile as being higher than ours, a more established Second tier club down the years compared to us, a relatively recent FA Cup final appearance, a London club etc. We may be a drastically changed club, but to many we remain something of a non-entity, and only a spell in the top division will ever change that. A club like Blackburn Rovers will 'dine out' on their Premiership exploits for years to come in terms of attracting players, even if they never make it back up.

A visit to the New Den and the Amex including the new facilities should make the choice somewhat easier. It has to be about money and length of contract surely?

The bloke's 27 and their current POTS, I bet he wants to play too - rather than sit on the bench.
..... and this is why I think he will elect to head for the Lions Den instead of us.

Indications are that #bhafc have lost out to Millwall in the rivalry to sign Shaun Williams from MK Dons.

Naylor has just tweeted that it looks like Millwall will get him.

Perhaps if he goes there he'll go straight into the team whereas here he may be a squad player

What is loud and clear is that we need to sell to buy anyone of any quality. I have a mate at Millwall I will find out why this has gone in their favour
