26 goals in 43 appearances is a failure? Interesting.

Hard to tell what level he is, as he has blossomed recently but how strong the the A-league is certainly up for debate. He certainly didn't set the world on fire in his younger years in England.

will need to sort out a lot of contractual shit before he can put himself in the marketplace so probably won't be a quick solution unless he already has a deal lined up somewhere (not unlikely by any means)

Would we want someone who quits a 2 year contract after 5 days? that dont show loyalty.
Im sure he did not sign the contract without visiting the place?

I hope he has to pay back every penny the club paid out...

and if he does will you do a little dance with a bowl of coconut milk balanced on your head whilst throwing bangers at your buddah statue.....!!!!all i said was basically ........could do a job,i'm not after one of your lectures this evening thankyou all the same.:tosser::lolol:

i 'd welcome feedback on his availability and weather people think he would be suitable or not.........don't get the loyalty thing as 5 days is not long enough to develop any allegiance to anyone at the club,he has just moved from one of the best places in the world to be, to a large industrial city in northern china.......it is a monumental sacrifice to expect your wife and two kids to make, i'm sure all the contractural stuff will be sorted soon enough........you might love living in asia/indo , he obviously didn't fancy it...!!!

surely he should have thought about that before signing a contract?

According to a transfer website he is valued at 900K?

would that valuation be high because he scored 1 goal against Italy?

If Gus asks me I will say no.....( but I dont think he will ask)

I thought similarly when I heard he'd quit after five days, but I think he'll be back to the safety of Gold coast utd for the a league season.
Also read that the international clearance hadn't gone through so he is still a gold coast player.
Am sure Gus can find better value out there.
