Are there any Albion fans who don't love big Shane?
Yes, Me.
And it is nothing to do with his football ability either.
He wants to remember the city he lives in before he starts gobbing off about how great an IRA filth was when he died

Getting Cruyff turned by Duffy when pressing, is hardly likely to encourage the bloke to press more for utd :)

And congrats to Shane on the 50 caps.

He continues to confound anyone remaining brave enough to criticise him

I seem to remember (possibly incorrectly) Blackburn fans crowing that they'd mugged us when we bought Duffy.

TBF, given his recent form at Blackburn at the time, a fair few of us thought that at first too!

Incidentally, there was a phone in on Talksport the other day about whether Gerrard should go to Villa, and whether Villa was a step up fron Rangers or not. Usual wild jocko claims, of course, but all were capped by a Celtic loon who came on and claimed that Duffy was proof that the SPL was way above the PL - if a joke like Duffy (he laughed quite maniacally - if not also slightly drunkenly - every time he mentioned Duffy) could get a game in the PL, it must be pants compared to Celtic and Rangers! Hilarious ...................

and let's not forget the Albion game he didn't play in, the defence got ripped to shreds.

Absolutely delighted for his success this season, after such a horrible time with Celtic. He's had the odd dodgy moment but generally his appearances for us this season have been some of his best.

The boy Duffy is a MONSTER. Still ploughs his furrow up and down the pitch and pitches in with WAY more goals than his job desciption warrants? Albion Legend or WHAT? ???

Bet they didnt mention the ease that Balagon and Goldson managed to step up to SPL level.

I loved seeing Shane celebrate with the players on the pitch after the final whistle.

What a team player :bhasign:
