I think he brings a lot to the team.

I didn't realise there was a great deal of negativity directed at him other than his penchant for gerrard-esque diving...

Just wish we'd have someone worth the wages sitting on the bench so he isn't relied upon week in week out.

Anyone who doubted him was just being over dramatic, he can be annoying but i think that's just him. At least he gives 100% unlike the other shit on the pitch.

Cracking finish for the first.

He's still lost his pace though, and is a mouthy diving gobshite.

That says a lot about their partnership. Murray couldn't wait to get off the pitch today. Did he actually applaud the fans after the game?

Sorry, one game with a different strike force which we have won and you're questioning his partnership?

What about the stupid amount of goals Murray has scored for us, as did Forster with them together for most of this season, and the last part of last year?

Sorry Mark, but on this one you really haven't got a clue. Forster and Glenn are our two best players. If you have a complaint with him, you'll have a complaint with EVERYONE.

My complaint with him is his ridiculous bollocking off Murray at EVERY opportunity. Frankly i'm surprised he didn't rollock Murray for setting him up with that free header he missed.

It's just a shame he's not quite the player of last season. He doesn't get past defenders with pace anymore. Thankfully he's found his shooting boots again, but he doesn't offer anything to the team without them.

For the record, I think Murray mostly plays better without Forster and vice versa.

What I was getting at, was the 'personal' partnership. It's been well documented here and elsewhere that Forster mouths off at Murray and maybe, just maybe Murray is getting pissed off with it, to the extent he may force Murray out of the club.

One game doesn't cover up a seasons shit. We could lose the next couple and this game will mean f*** all.

1. He did applaud the fans
2. He looked incredible when he came on, was beating defenders effortlessly, made chances out of nothing.

Fleetwood is a totally different type of player, he doesn't win balls in the air, is not a dribbler, doesn't have a great first touch, but is fast and direct and if played into the channels will be a problem for defenders.

I don't get why so many people want to berate Murray though. He has skill and vision far exceeding that of most of our players, yet it seems fashionable to find fault with him at any opportunity.

Forster bollocked Fleetwood today on one occasion. Forster is a moaner, many teams have them, it doesn't mean he and Murray are not mates though.

Will have to accept that if you saw it.

One other poster on here, as well as at least half a dozen round me at the game said he didn't!

Whatever the correct interpretation, he was on his way off the pitch as the others were coming over to applaud the fans. And he wasn't applauding as he neared the tunnel.
