Really good point you've made in my opinion. At 35 he is entering his last years it would be terrible fo us and him if we burnt him out or contributed to a career ending injury. He was a class act today.

It is worrying that Murray and Forster do seem to play better without each other up front. Based on todays performance Forster looks like the far superior player, especially considering Murray's horrible display on Friday. We need them both though.

Anyone who doubted Forster is stupid. The amount he brings to the team, even when he's not scoring, is amazing. I can understand why he gets so frustrated with Murray, for a man of 35 he runs around and gets stuck in incredibly well. Today, look at our chances and everything seemed to be coming through him. Pretty much the first chance he was given he scored.

I don't get why so many people want to berate Murray though. He has skill and vision far exceeding that of most of our players, yet it seems fashionable to find fault with him at any opportunity.

To be fair, I think it is only a select few and they are not fans of his 'give a f***'/languid style. Certainly one of the best players to grace the turf of Withdean. He would be (even more) dynamite in a team full of creative outlets.

theres a great amount of difference between a good result and 90 minutes of entertaining football - yesterday being a classic example of it

i couldnt give a toss if the players clap the fans or not, as long as they are good enough to play. give me a team of murrays storming off after the game but talented players over a team of frasers anyday
