Greer had a tight calf apparently, he certainly looked fine going down the tunnel for half time. Vincelot looked like a dislocated elbow/shoulder, the way they strapped up his arm in a sling. Was quite worried for CMS actually, fell very heavily early on in the second half and was still hobbling about deep into injury time.

To be fair, CMS looks like he's hobbling at the best of times!

Good news about GG. That was just about our nightmare scenario this evening when all other areas of the team are looking so promising.

I've come back home.
As soon as i saw Sir Vince go down and Ankers attempt some bodgit and scarper first aid it reminded me off my broken shoulder in Feb skiing. Wow it hurt and i really really hope he is ok, wouldn't wish it on my worst enemy.

I was in line with what happened to Vincelot and like Ankergren was trying his damndest to put his shoulder back into place. My balls went inside me at the sight of it.

Looked like his elbow from where I was in WSL as his arm had a very weird shape to it and was hanging nastily. Fair play to Vince I would have had tears rolling if my elbow had popped out he just grimaced and took it like a man.

Greer is essential to our match performance so is not readily replaceable.

Vincelot has proved to be aa more than excellent addition and I truly hope he is not badly injured as he has performed admirably. ood Luck Romain !

Truly hope neither is seriously injured.

I dislocated my elbow once playing football, it was f*cking horrible and hurt like hell. In fact it was only the complete ineptitude of the St Johns Ambulance staff that made me laugh enough to help ease the pain - they nearly dropped me, they hadn't a clue what was wrong and they were all geeks..... Still, they give up their (trainspotting) time for nothing.

Are you fit to fill Greer's role on Saturday? Lol

Both Calderon and Painter have played CB before. Thought IC looked good when he slotted in there today but we may be lacking a bit of height.

To my mind, Calderon may be distracted from the immediate need, and, Painter is not quick enough to react to the needs of centre back.

Just hope GG is not (badly) injured and his withdrawal was just precautionary.

GG will be missed if he's not fit for Saturday. Our best CB partnership is always GG and AN Other.

Comment from Gus in the Argus on GG was "We'll see. We need to check on Gordon. It's a problem but probably for one game only". Sounds as though he's going to struggle for Saturday which gives us a problem with Vincelot also injured.

Just far enough away from LDC
I was in A&E last night with my wife when Romain was brought in being looked after by Tim Stephenson (the club doctor). He seemed in reasonably good spirits - one very brave man if the injury is confirmed as what it looked like ( a dislocation or fracture). I once dislocated and fractured my elbow and I was a major wuss in comparison to how he was.

The wonders of drugs (painkillers)?
