Sevilla not a big draw or sale of tickets wrong

Yeah, actually after 45 years of supporting the albion with all the money I have spent at the club, not paying for a ticket to a meaningless friendly wipes all that out.

Thanks for pointing that out.

What a fool I have been.

Normal sit WSU but we going to try the ESL as high up as we can, looking forward to surport my team and a curry in Lewes afterwards.

Reasonably priced game against reasonably attractive opposition. Refuse to be corralled into areas of the ground with the shoddiest ten-deep catering facilities, so guess I probably won't be going. Oh well.

If there aren't many going, there won't be enough to be ten deep at the counters.

As we've had a handful of email queries it is worth clarifying the reason why we have opened the west lower, east lower and so on. By following this procedure, it means much lower costs for the club, and actually enables us to keep prices much lower, and more affordable for supporters. Had we opened all four sides of the ground, then the costs of hosting the game rise, and in turn prices are higher.

As for the opponents, let's not underestimate them: there is no doubt Sevilla are one of the top sides in Europe, and Chelsea and possibly Arsenal aside, are arguably the best side to visit the Amex. They've won back-to-back Europa League titles...! I for one am looking forward to seeing them play!

Everybody knows that selling tickets stand by stand is for financial reasons.Nobody doubts the quality of the opposition. The issue is that the club are almost telling us that they are not expecting a big crowd by selling tickets this way. They could have opened all sides of the ground barring WU & EU meaning that at least all sides of the ground are available.Im saying this as a WU season ticket holder so not as someone who just wants to be able to sit in his own sit.

I'm west stand lower, but taking my 5 year old for first time. So want him to go east stand lower!
Does anyone actually know if tickets are going to go on sale there? Because if they think oh west stand not selling much and don't open any others it will be 5000, at clubs fault :shootself

Message to supporters.
If you are actually a fan, buy the ticket.

Bollocks! So in your view if you don't buy a ticket for a meaningless friendly you are a not a fan?

I've just cancelled my holiday, the kids are in tears and the Mrs has walked out, but I'm happy I have got my ticket as I don't want anyone thinking I'm not a proper fan.

Any particular reason why you want to go in the East Stand? I'm not sure the whole 'family stand' thing really counts for much for this fixture.

After tonight's performance I don't think Seville will be shaking in their boots.
I want to go on Sunday but I don't want to go if there is no atmosphere.

There will be no atmosphere. It's a pre season friendly with maybe 20 away supporters (and they will be some random students visiting Brighton)

Its a meaningless training game. I absolutely guarantee there will be no atmosphere.

If you want an atmosphere, have a row with the missus.

I don't want to talk anyone out of going, but there will be zero atmosphere. It's a pre-season friendly played between teams with no connection in a stadium that will be at least 75% empty.

Have you not been to a pre-season friendly before?

I am looking forward to it. Not with any massive excitement but the positives for me are:
1) first chance to see new signings- especially the big Finn in goal.
2) some of the DS players
3) the quality of the opposition.

So yes not a great deal to get overly excited about but hey ho atleast we are still in the position to justify a friendly against the current holders of a European cup.

Then again will I be feeling the same way come half time on Sunday[emoji6][emoji15][emoji6]
