When defending and attacking I don't understand some of our tactics.

When defending we tend to have ALL men behind the ball which I simply don't understand. Why not push up Robinson or Cox, neither of which do much defending against a corner or freekick and both have a lot of pace. You can't be offside in your own half so why not! I would hope the defence are good enough they could cope...it might push them back as well. Why do we never think about hitting them on the break like that?

When attacking (mainly corners) why does Cox always seem to put it into the area with no-one. Just between the 6 yard box and the edge of the area at the far post. He either doesn't clear the first man or gets it way too far. If this is his capiblities why don't we put someone there or why don't we get someone else to take it?

We scored two of our goals on Saturday from corners so I would say from an attacking point of view our corners are good.

I liked the way all the palyers lined up behind each other just inside the D, then spread out as the corner was taken.

Also thought we left Robinson out when defending them ?? but agree we should have both him and Cox just inside the halfwayline.

I hate the way teams bring everyone back on Corners.

You need at least one person to close down the ball and stop it coming straght back in.

What a ridiculous statement! Check out the percentage of goals we have scored from set-pieces this season. I BET it's at least 1/3

I doubt it. I have noticed many of our chances go because of misplaced balls. I don't understand why we don't put someone out there! We do score from corners, but we have loads of corners and I do think we waste them.

The corners last weekend were excellent, lots of movement, everyone knew where they were going. If cox could put the balls on a sixpence for every corner then he would be playing in the premiership.

The amount of goals from corners might be about 1/3 but I bet if you look at all the other corners that we have had the VAST majority of them would be wasted!!
