Ring the people and explain the circumstances once you know what you can afford.

there two kinds of people with debt - "Cant Pay" or "Wont Pay", they will understand and come to an agreement!

I've been in contact with them and agreed a repayment scheme, which has begun. They're satisfied I'm in the "can't pay" camp rather than the "won't", and are happy for me to repay in small reinstallments. Which is glorious news, and a big weight off my mind. Thanks for the advice, Northstander.

Dude no one will ever by a second hand DVD for more than £3...

Good luck though.

I sold one earlier on for £20. :falmer:
Which was a rather pleasant suprise.

Good show Ninga, sounds like your well on your way to debt free land. May I make a suggestion which was passed down to me by my Mum(she worked in banks her entire life) for every paycheque you earn, put 5% of it in a savings account and don't touch it. You'll be amazed how quickly it will accumulate interest and when the day comes when you need to splash some dosh on a purchase, you won't have to borrow, you can say I own it outright. Fantastic feeling being debt free.

Thank you, I've taken the first steps. With alot of help from NSC, thank you to everyone, I really appreciate all the help, advice and support I've received.

It sounds a wise idea that, my plan is to start growing my ISA again when I get a new job. I had to empty it pretty sharpish over the last 6 months or so. Which is where the "live within your means" advice really becomes appropriate, and that's one lesson deffinitely learnt!

Ninja, if you find eBay slow, give Amazon Marketplace a try. I've easily and comfortably sold goods worth £50 over the last week or so.

As I said, it's like eBay, but much quicker and easier. You can get a good idea for what you should be looking for price wise as well.

Go and suck cock tomorrow at Queer Pride. That will earn you plenty.

I might give that a go after the 3 day listings end on Ebay. Thanks.

As long as you stay in touch with the people you owe, and show them good faith and intent, then you're okay.

That's what I'm hoping. :)

Wonder how long its going to take Adrian Mutu to pay Chelski that fourteen million quid?

He's got slightly more problems than me! I wonder how long until a load of Mutu shirts appear on Ebay...
