No retrospective acion because the ref saw the incident and dealt with it there and then. Phew.... Thank god he never got away with it. When done Chris Foy for seeing it and dealing with it.

Yes, but the ref gave the harshest penalty he could at the time with Barnes (red card) so they could add on extra if they wanted.

It seems that the rule needs changing to allow the FA to take action if they considered the refs action wasn't appropriate the trouble is it would be seen as to undermine the refs.
