Wonder what would have happened if the England team had just walked off the pitch? It would have forced UEFA to do something - at the very worst we would be kicked out of the tournament.

Confirmed by a UEFA spokesman "Uefa is going to begin disciplinary proceedings against England and Serbia for their parts in the appalling disturbances on Wednesday night which shamed the game of football...."

We had the chance to do that, when Beckham was Captain, against Spain a few years ago in Madrid.

It was only a friendly, so no points at stake. No way would Pearce take the plays off when qualification is at stake.

Back to Serbia. Ban them, including the senior side. That would put an end to this disgraceful behaviour once and for all.

I'm guessing they're charging the FA for failure to control players... According to UEFA our players should have sprinted off the pitch Usain Bolt style and waited for it all to blow over in the changing rooms whilst eating fried chicken and listening to gangsta rap...

UEFA said before they were waiting for the referee's report... this is the ref that sent off Danny Rose after the final whistle for kicking the ball into the crowd under extreme provocation, right - but not any of the players involved in the brawl...

Really? Like what? He really needs to grow up. Where is the difference between that, and fans winding-up Wayne Bridge about his Ex and JT? In my opinion, the latter is worse, because it is factual, and very personal. The Serb's noises were childish, and he knows that. He is lucky that he did not get the full treatment like black players endured at the Goldstone.

As a professional player, he should know that fans will try anything they can to wind up the other team's players.

Are you for real? Childish behaviour? So, just suppose then that he may happen to have had to endure such "childish behaviour" throughout his life? Not uncommon. In fact I witnessed such "Childish behaviour" in Brighton only yesterday. Rose really should consider himself "lucky" shouldn't he??

In fact, if everyone thought your way, he wouldn't be "lucky" would he? Nothing would have changed from the 1970's. Christ on a bike....just because someone has a different skin tone its alright to abuse them then??? OK then Pinky, Whitey, Yellowy, Blacky, Browny, Redy....whatever colour your skin is....you're obviously inferior to me simply cause I'm going to generalise about you.....Pork Pie eh? OK then "Porky", Piggy, oink oink!! Now do you see how infantile your view is?

Its not how things are "intended" that counts...its how they are "received" by the individual the comment is directed to.

Fans winding up Wayne Bridge is also both inexcusable and illogical..he was the injured party not the perpetrator.

Either get with the 21st Century pal or go back to the 1970s and support Burnley or some other backwater dive stuck in the past....I'd certainly feel better not having someone holding your views as a fellow "fan".

As i may have mentioned 4 pages earlier, using slightly different terms, when it happens, get the players off the f***ing pitch and force the wankers at UEFA to deal with it. Why the hell should anyone have to put up with this shit ?

And no mention on the UEFA website of any racism in the match report.

They are a complete joke, but unfortunately it seems only we really think so.

Disgraceful scenes at the end of the match now

Racism/ Homophobia are both rife in football today nothing is being done about it,it`s not right but because so much money is involved in the sport means no one in authority has the bollox to punish the perpetrators.

I hope Rose gets the book thrown at him. Disgraceful to think that he reacted as he did with what was just punchy banter thrown his way. Needs to man up. Someone could have been seriously hurt by his actions.

Hopefully UEFA see past the histrionics and punish those that reacted with such disdain for protocol.

I trust Platini will do the right thing. The UEFA policies have worked thus far. About time some sort of control was garnered and the players are controlled before they tend to their animalistic trendencies.

Football is all about letting off steam at the weekend (or on a Tuesday) and swearing and behaving how you might not, during the week. Behaving like an animal for a couple of hours. It would be a crying shame, if that was to be removed from the game.

The Serbian reputation has been tainted. I appalud the future actions of Platini. A residual fine will suffice.

Outrageous scene, To be fair both teams should be investigated in order to get to the bottom of it. I think it is more about whether the authorities have to balls to hold Serbia accountable. I would prefer England to refuse to play in countries that behave like this, bugger not qualifying for a tournament we need to make a stand about this.
