Too bloody right.

Who the f*** do they think they are. Too cosy, cosy if you ask me at the moment. No real competition for places.

"Look Sven, you keep picking me as captain, even if I play shit, and we will all support you, whoever you shag".

I think that to play for England is an Honour not a right !

The way Beckham has been playing recently a new manager would be right to drop him....so, David Beckham , Captain of England has a lot more appeal to sponsors than David Beckham,of Real Madrid.

The same goes for some of the others who are in on past reputation rather than current form.

So, a new manager would be inclined to do it his way...thus costing some bland players a huge wad of earning potential

It all makes sense now !

Kick Eriksson out now....The F.A. look like the closing scene from the Benny Hill Show

Don't think they've actually said they're going to strike - think they're just saying they're a bit miffed - probably because they can get away with murder (or sex scandels perhaps) under Sven - he hasn't the balls to take off a big name player like beckham when he's too tired to kick a ball.

Can't see it happening. Stating loyalty to the current manager - the guy who's picking you - is fairly standard practise. Look at Chelsea last season, with all the players saying how they give 100% everytime for Ranieri. You won't hear anyone saying, "Yeah we lost, but I was only giving 70% for that Jose fella. If it had still been Claudio I'd have tried harder."

Nah, it's like kissing the badge, it means nowt. Managers come and go and the players always act the same;

The King is dead, long live the King.

Kissing the badge is wank!

Unless you're a 1 club player who grew up near his club & supported them as a boy....like Alan Smith at Leeds...doh!!!

they can f*** right off. Id rather see the NSC team go out with three lions and get throughly spanked by San Marino then have a bunch of overpaid, underperforming "professionals" hold the FA and English footbal to ransom.

It'll never happen though, a strike i mean, as if it went that far you'd see the "B" team players cross the pick line so to speak.

Nonsense.

The next English manager must be foreign or we don't have a hope.

We have a better record in qualifying, and in the finals of major tournaments, under FOREIGNER Sven Goran Errikksson than we did under ENGLISHMAN Kevin Keegan, ENGLISHMAN Glenn Hoddle and ENGLISHMAN Graham Taylor so how can it be because he's foreign you buffoon?

You also forget that we are in a far healthier state now than when Errikksson took the job (from an ENGLISHMAN).

There is not an Englishman fit to run even the women's national team and all the decent managers in the Prem (the ones who've actually won anything) are from other countries in Britain or from abroad.

Scolari's the man for the job.
