Does it actually matter when you claim, what is the relevance of all the different claim times were are all being given?
there not paying anything until June anyway i hear, so see no reason to hurry.

My understanding is that the monies are paid within 6 days.

I was given today at midday to apply. Did it an hour ago and says they will check the claim, and pay within 6 days.

Exactly.

With furloughing staff I waited a few days for the silly stampede to subside.

Finally, finally got my initial letter through on Monday. Did my eligibility check online as l have a Government Gateway user ID and password and it all seemed to go through quite painlessly.

Haven't heard anything since but having spoken with my Accountant the money I have salted away for VAT and Income Tax/NICS on account doesn't have to be paid until January 2021 so a bit of a buffer in any case.

I personally don't want to be on any Income Support Scheme, I have loads of work on hold and want to go and do it rather than sparring with HMRC...

Indeed. The main HMRC website was a bit shaky yesterday, understandably.

Was it ? - Hope it stands up till the end of the week then.

I don't get involved in any of the Admin side of claims. My team reviewing my clients potential claims said that only 3 or 4 of them had the 13th as their given date. Apparently the 15th was the most common date for my clients but that's probably coincidental.

Crashed a couple of times while I was doing other stuff. Happens anyway of course but I didn't think it was coincidental.

Having logged on late last week and getting confirmation that I was due some cash, I didn't see a date anywhere, so logged on last night. Very simple process and a few minutes later got a nice sum of money.
Have to say government doing well in handing out cash.
Furlough staff. Whilst very confusing at first, my payroll software updated in April with easy explanations on how to pay staff. gov.uk has a very easy portal and paid 6 days later.
Council £10K. Very easy and got it within a week.
Small business loan. Thought I'd try for it even though I don't need it. Got £40K within 12 hours from Santander, interest free for one year. Going to park this in another account for emergencies but aim to pay back within one year.
Never had so much money in my bank account.

15th for my wife, too.
I shall be on the case.

I received a letter on Monday telling me to apply for a Gateway Code, and my accountant did all the work for me, she told me I would hear from HMRC about when I could apply.
I've been checking frequently but no news then 1 hour ago I received an official looking e-mail asking me to confirm my e-mail.address, and giving me an official looking
link to click.
Seeing as HMRC sent me an e-mail on Monday to confirm my Gateway access code....it is obviously a scam.
Just a warning to others watch out them ******** are trying to scam everyone.

Good news is, I can apply for my payment from Saturday at 8-00 a
