Because our strikers are w@nk for this league? You want me to lie then or make excuses.?

Baldock
Murray
Hemed

Has to be the worse in this league. If you don't agree then tell me who ?

Everybody knows you can easily expand on that.

Discuss their strengths or weaknesses. Argue why Hughton can't see what you're seeing. Feel free but "they're [insult] " is impossible to respond to I'm afraid.

This is the best answer. Keep it tight, play it safe. Bring Propper on for Sidwell or Stephens for 20 minutes, and give Izquierdo a ten/fifteen minute run out.

Has CH agreed we're not going to be playing 4-4-2 (or 4-4-1-1) yet then?

Sometimes I think you are over-defensive about the club, but I agree with you here. Just because a striker isn't as good as, say, Kane or Aguerro, that doesn't make him crap.

March had a fantastic game against City, but I think it may be the safer option to have him as our reliable super sub rather than Izquierdo. We have seen him make an impact and change our game many many times before, if we are looking for an equaliser or winner against Leicester, I think a fresh March can totally change the game.
Other subs...Maenpaa, Uwe, Roseiner, Ince, Stephens, Hemed
Yes Ince.

Absolutely. Have no doubt about Propper, I was more commenting on the hypocrisy of criticising some people for doubting one new signing after one game and then saying another new signing looks like a 'dud' after one league game.

Yes but Ryan doesn't have the same kind of pedigree. He was supposedly poor at Valencia. And only ever really good at brugges. Where as propper was one of PSVs best players.

That is completely irrelevant. Players with good pedigree in other leagues have failed in the Premier League. Whatever pedigree Ryan has, to suggest he looks a dud after one league game is ridiculous. And there is no suggestion he was poor at Valencia, more that he never really was given a chance to play regularly.

We will see. I just have a gut feeling. I've been wrong many times in the past !

Nope I've looked up and down this thread and can't see anyone saying our strikers should be as good as Kane or Aguerro.

Perhaps you can tell spence who Brighton's current strikeforce is better than in this division?
CJ seemed to swerve that bit.

Chances are he is just waiting for our strikeforce to be better than x,y, & z, then he can retrofit his answer without losing face to his paymasters.

Will Chris' striker options be better in September, of course they will.
Should they have been better before the start of the season, esp considering Baldock being injured... ?
Are they currently the worse in this league... I'll await your answer.

Ryan
Bruno, Dunk, Duffy, Suttner
Propper, Gross, Stephens
Knocky, March, Jose

I'll get my (luckily not the manager's) coat.

I like this. With the option of changing it around withMurray /Hemed coming on.

The most curious thing..
Ryan, Maenpaa, Suttner, Dunk, Duffy, Bruno, Bong, Rosenior, Hünemeier, Stevens, Propper

After last Saturday we won't be bothering with forwards anyway. 2 goalkeepers and 9 across the back.

"They shall not pass".

I think Albright on is a threat for Leicester after the game I saw at the weekend and therefore Rosenior on at right mid to counter this with Bruno .

Then bring on the pace of AK and Jose second half

Ok. Let's imagine a scenario where Bruno picked up a back injury and Knockaert a knock in an open training session which meant they couldn't play Saturday....

---------------------Ryan----------------------
--Rosenior---Dunk----Duffy----Suttner--
--------Sidwell-----------Stephens-------
--Murphy-----Groß---------March---
---------------------Murray-----------------------

Subs: Maenpaa, ????, Hünemeier, Pröpper, Izquierdo, Skalak, Hemed

do we have another RB?

Like the look of that for a tough away game.

Mine is only Rosenior for Bruno.

Usual 5
Solly, Propper, Stephens, Gross
Izquierdo
Hemed.

Losing Stephens doesn't seem as bad as it used to be:-

Usual 5
Solly, Propper, Gross, Murphy
Izquierdo
Hemed.

Although that team would get hammered.
