The stewards are very friendly and helpful in WSU, the man who checked my bag on entry said thank you sir and our Lady Steward in our section is so friendly and polite it is a pleasure.

Yep. They even thank you when you leave these days.

Yes, I've reported it both to the police and club. I'm certainly not standing by and letting something like that happen without challenge. Pretty disappointing though, as someone else said the stewards have been really good other than this experience.

Outside of the ground, and within its operating remit, I couldn't t give 2 shxxs how the stewards behave. If they are working within the law/bylaws then people need to cooperate in a sensible manner or face any consequences.

If operating outside of the law they should be told to politely do one (said it, done it, had the pointless argument and won).

As for asking them to move cars on a public highway?

They always look embarrassed at having to ask to look in any bags. Never had any trouble with them.

cheers! To be fair, I'd be very suspicious too. Really strange experience and hopefully not to be repeated. Sounds like I should just keep.my head down and let things carry on as they are in future according to the wisdom of nsc.

I did note the number on his jacket, 681. Have also reported to police and am now doing so to the club. Simply can't have people responsible for others' safety behaving like that.

I'm unhurt but with an attitude like that in a volatile situation there could be a very bad outcome.

I was talking about the stewards at the UNI car park. I have no idea where they come from. What would I like them do? Well nothing. I would like at least half of them laid off. Today they had 3 stewards standing outside full car parks with car park full signs being paid to do **** all. Everywhere over there can be found groups of them chatting or the odd singles or couples sloping off onto the various alcoves. I bet no one from the upper management of BHA has driven or walked through there between 2-3pm or they would have burst a blood vessel. What a waste of money!
