Yes, yes, I know, the club shop staff are entitled to spend the Bank Holidays with their families but...

Went down to Churchill Square today. Thousands of happy shoppers in there. Thought maybe the club might have set up a stall in the mall like they did at Xmas. Nope. Went up to the club shop and there was a notice in the window with the opening times on:

Easter Friday: CLOSED
Easter Saturday: OPEN
Easter Sunday: CLOSED
Easter Monday: CLOSED

Which must translate into, what, a grand? five grand? ten grand? in lost sales. Ah well, it's only money...

Lancing
Cutting down on the wages though innit.......

Surely we could of got another striker on loan knowing that we were gonna save money with these opening hours being cut down.

I think the shop in whole is poor, It is under stocked and they are missin out on some items that would sell a lot.

A bit like the northstand food situation needs to improve

Isn't it closed every Sunday, so you cant fault them on that, but still Friday and Monday is piss poor

They are Bank Holidays. Retail staff are entitled to Bank holidays off or days in lieu.
If they cant have days off in lieu (and I believe they would be entitled to double pay when doing it) then the cheaper option is to take the statutory holidays.

Did you enjoy your Friday and Monday off Mr Hark (which I know you got) ;)

Should have been open on Saturday perhaps, as that wasn't a Bank Holiday, but the others are fair enough IMO.

As I read it, it was open on Easter Saturday.

It is very poor Im afraid. Almost EVERY other retail outlet is open on Easter Monday, it is a very busy day for shopping.

Enjoy BOTH your bank holidays???????

And I would think that opening the shop would mean double time as opening on public holidays.

Charlie is a legend, not least for the work he does with the kids and the community stuff.

He stepped in as a skipper and made a great job of it.

So that's two shirts sold then :lolol:
