And for those that have not seen it the squad for tomorrow is...

Albion: (4-4-2) Henderson; El-Abd, McShane, Butters, Lynch; Reid, Carpenter, Hammond, Frutos; Hart, Carole. Subs from: Kuipers, Mayo, Robinson, McPhee, Kazim-Richards, Loft, Hinshelwood.

My preference, never having played as a pro and not being the manager, would be:

Henderson, El-Abd, McShane, Butters, Lynch, Carole, Carpenter, Hammond, Frutos, Hart, Kazim-Richards.

Subs: Kuipers, Hinshelwood, Reid, Robinson, McPhee.

Hove, f***ing ACTUALLY.
On the wing, HOWEVER, I cant understand why people could say he was a poor striker, when he has played in that position he has seen an awful lot less of the ball than when he plays as a winger, or in the midfield.

Carole is the first player since Bobby to really excite me when he has the ball at his feet.

I would say (and we disagree at last!) that as a striker you must either A) score goals or B) enable others to score goals via your passing or creation of space. I haven't seen either from Carole as a striker. However I have seen him do that as a winger.

But isnt it a catch 22 situation, take Carole out of the Midfield and the creativity is not as high as it is when he is there, and we seem to become more high ball from the back orientated.

Carole is never going to be able to creative with that sort of service.

I think if we had another creative midfielder (Although I would like to see Paul Reid continue his development as he has certainly got potential) we would see a much better performance from Carole when he is played up front.

Let's see what comes out of the hat tomorrow.

True, so lets put him back there. If he can't replicate that creativity from a withdrawn striking role (Sheringham type role) given our current squad then what's the point of persisting with it. Sheringham runs games from that role, I don't think Seb is capable of doing the same right now.

CKR in a withdrawn role, Carole on the wing and Frutos on the left would be very nice. All capable of running at defenders, Carole with pace and skill, CKR with pace and power and Frutos with pace and movement. All three can strike a ball well to.
