Can't believe I'm saying this but I actually agree with Dean White. Carole is a luxury player we can't really afford in our current situation. We need people who will work hard for the team both in attack and defence.

After the corner for Elphick's goal, people around me were getting very excited about Carole and the difference he had made but I thought Davies caused them more problems than Carole (glossing over the miss at the end).

The difference he made was simply that his corner found one of our players rather than the first defender like all of Cox's

I accept that but then again we aren't playing American Football and have players only come on to take set pieces. Anyway, wasn't the corner won by Davies causing trouble for their defenders?

I put it down to two things why Carole doesn't start. One when he comes off the bench, we look a better side going forward. Two he isn't match fit and still trying to find his feet. Hopefully when he gets more match fitness under his belt, he will start more games.

oh, please do not get me wrong. I do not in any way dislike White as a person, i just dont aggree with his choice regarding Carole. In regards to McNulty and Whing, i think Carole takes priority over them in attacking terms. Carole is a player that likes to take the defender on and go forward, so if we can keep Whing back, and Carole up, things could be all fantastic. On the downside, i could be completely wrong, but am confident in my own decision on this one. But yeah, as a person, i do not dislike him at all, the same with adams, i just do not agreee with the way they manage.

Do we really want a winger that gets done everytime and has to keep running at Whing though?

I would start him on the bench.

With confidence throughout the team pretty fragile it is important we don't go behind early.

Birchall offers a more solid foundation on the right.

I think Carole is perfectly suited to coming on for the last 25 minutes when the game is more stretched and defenders are tired.

With Whing and McNulty going forward as much as they do in support of the attack play, can you really play someone who doesn't track back and help when the opposition counter attack (the cause of a lot of goals we have conceeded this season - conter attacks, not Carole failing to track back i mean)

You may not agree with the tactic, but that is what it is and that is why managers are paid to make those types of decisions, after all their jobs live and die by these type of choices. Everyone may not agree with their decisions, and they may not always work, but that doesn't mean they are clueless, or were wrong in what they did, it just didn't work that time.

What would you be saying if Carole had started, we'd beeen beaten and Carole failing to retreat and defend had contributed to the loss?

How does trying to undermine the current coaching staff help our predicament? - what if the new manager, whoever that may be decides to keep White and Brooker on, after all, White has been here a long time, worked under alot of managers here and non have seen fit to dispense with his services so he must do something right.

Just because you have decided you dislike him for whatever reason doesn't mean everyone else does or has to, It amazes me how many "fans" we have who now think they are experts at football management, think that they know everything (or deserve to know everything) that goes on at the club, How do you know what he does behind the scenes or in training.

He is a part of the current set up at the club, and while here, deserves our support.

good point..... how good is cox at tracking back and tackling?

Personally, I think for someone with his skill, he very rarely gets in a good cross. He created the goal but that was from a corner and yes, he did win the corner because his cross was blocked. However, if he is a winger, why is he not getting more crosses into the box from open play.

I agree that he is a luxury player and should only be used as an impact sub.
