I thought it had been catagorically confirmed that no season tickets would be sold in the South Stand?

just moved into the south S1G, was in W1A but it was low down in row H and parallel to between goal line and 6 yard box. pretty crap view tbh when attacking north.

new seat is £100 cheaper at £425 row V at top - first ailse from concourse stairs and seat on aisle. when the away fans take up their full 10% allocation, i.e palace. there is only going to be a few stewards and OB between us, should be fairly heated!!!

downside is if cup team want 15% (apparently even Newcastle and Liverpool didn't), we will have to be moved elsewhere in ground.

always liked the atmosphere and banter of being near away fans, can't get much nearer than an aisle away :albion2:

Insider let it slip out in one of his replies on ATC when he mentions ST's being sold in the South Stand.

Can undertstand that for people that cant afford ST, the other side of the argument is that TB has a massive debt for the ground to recoup and if he can get the guaranteed revenue today, its an opportunity he can't turn down.

I can only get to half the games, but still have a ST, though lucky enough to be able to afford it and understand not everyone can

I think this is where the official ticket exchange becomes a reality.

It looks like there will only be a few if the away team takes the 3300 allocation.

However I think it very unlikely that many clubs will. Most games will have at least the rest of the south adding 1200 and possibly the corner adding another 800.

So for the majority of games there will probably be as many tickets available as there was last year.

the club told me today they only anticipate 4 teams taking the full 3300 for league games. he mentioned Palace and Leeds as two of them...... not sure who the other 2 are though? any guesses

Sweet, thank you very much people, I'll give them a bell today!

I can't quite explain why, but the fact that in the space of a couple of hours, this chap has just gone from "I can't afford a ST" :( to "Hooray, yes I can!" thanks to you posters makes me feel all warm inside

They let it slip a long time before that, however, I was lambasted when I mentioned that I had been told they were going to sell them

The e-top up screen appears to be getting prepared for an official ticket exchange and a print ticket facility.

Be interesting to see how a ticket exchange works and how much money you receive for each ticket exchanged. It could lead to "Buy to Let" ST holders in future seasons if you are getting a 20% plus return on an initial investment.

We definitely need them, and I'm sure they'll be able to get tickets. What we need is a good ticket exchange (I like NSC for that, but not everyone uses NSC, so the club need to exchange tickets). Don't forget the ground isn't fully extended yet, so there will be more available the following season.

Can undertstand that for people that cant afford ST, the other side of the argument is that TB has a massive debt for the ground to recoup and if he can get the guaranteed revenue today, its an opportunity he can't turn down.
There's no way TB will need to worry about another couple of hundred STs. It's good to sell them though, and looks good when attracting new players etc.

Yes, good points - for most games there should still be a fair few match-day tickets.
