Not an apple user but isn't it to do with the dynamic updating of the barcode? Or is that only an android thing?

No it's not. Only started after the season ticket was updated after the Watford game to load the Everton ticket.

Turn automatic updates back on and turn off notifications.

Open your Apple Wallet, select the season ticket, press the button with 3 dots in top right corner and turn off notifications.

Exactly what I’ve done, doesn’t stop it updating In the background I just don’t need to know about it every couple of hours

Exactly like it was on your original post. Just tried again and toggled the bottom one (Suggest on Lock Screen). Looks like that may have done the trick.

So after you turned off notifications you still received notifications? Or could these have been historic notifications?

No not strictly, I didn't get any further notifications but I couldn't get the thing off my lock screen telling me it had updated.

Normally when you have notifications on the lock screen and unlock they are no longer there when you lock again. This was persisting every time I locked/unlocked even if I clicked on it.

You can get individual notifications for the different items in your wallet. So don't turn off wallet notifications but instead turn off notifications from the season ticket in the wallet.

What does NHS COVID passes have to do with ticket sharing / touting?

I was partially assuming it's to stop people who aren't fully vaccinated getting hold of the tickets.. I'm still very disappointed nobody gave a toss on Saturday.

Shared sons tkt with missus (Apple iPhone Mini) and when clicking email link to download to Apple Wallet it just says 'Safari cannot download this file'. Anyone else had this and found a solution?

Our ID and covid passes were carefully checked on entry..................the checking was academic anyway though as the pre-match publicity would have meant 99% of people would have complied. I'd drop immediately to random - but careful - sample checking if I was in charge.

Deleted jnrs season ticket from my Apple wallet in order to upload onto his own phone (now that he is an adult). Forwarded email to him but each time he has tried to upload, gets message saying ticket on another device! Any ideas? Yes I have turned it off and on again!

I believe the missive from the club was that each ST could be d/l only once.
If you get a new phone, it will transfer over in the wallet when you do the data transfer.

The probable logic being stopping a group of say 8 people sharing the same ticket.

Correct. The guidance says make sure you download the ticket you are going to use at the games. I suggest a call to the very helpful people at supporter services.

My phone is Android. Not updated ticket to Everton. Yet?

Luckily I also have a season ticket card for the year. Maybe the system knows this and isn't up dating on my phone!!!

I believe I saw somewhere that if you got a card the phone tickets would not work. It's on the website or part of an email asking fans not to ask for cards if they have access to a smartphone I think.

My ticket in my Android Google Pay wallet is still showing Watford too. Miraculously managed to speak to a human after a 30 minute hold on Monday and was assured ticket would dynamically change to Everton. Getting a bit twitchy I fired off an email late yesterday and at still showing Watford. I also double checked all my Google settings. Earlier this evening I got a text from Jenny in Customer Se vices who assured me it should be fixed. It wasn't so I emailed back to confirm this. We shall see what the morning brings.

This really has the potential for a fiasco as I suspect there must be others in the same boat. What with the queues for the covid/ID checks that probably won't happen, they had better not come up some half arsed solution like we can all pop to the ticket office on Saturday to get a paper ticket to then scan. And in my case emailing me a ticket to print off is no good as currently I don't have access to a printer. And that's precisely why I loved TLD idea of mobile tickets.
