If you don’t believe we will get to see the 5 remaining games of 19/20 that we’ve already paid for and the 19 games of next season surely you have to take the deferral. It’s better to have cash in the bank than have it in the club’s bank and wait for them to tell you how and when you’ll get it back.

Exactly. Although the deferral amount will be set against the refund for this season only. It’s not enough for anything next season.
