No, but you have to go to the Amex to watch the match. No extra travelling needed.

But we pay for the travel cost in the price of our ST. So yes, there IS a cost, and if I were without my ST (luckily mine came on Saturday) I WOULD want compensation. It's a joke, considering the amount we pay, that it's been left so late.

I don't want compensation just the cost of the travel who knows it may be here tomorrow fingers crossed!

We get 1 lot of post at 12:30 the royal mail stopped doing more than 1 delivery to residental years ago so I don't know why you get 3 lots, the only time we get a second post is by my neighbours when the post it in the wrong letter box (at least once a week) or when the postie has finished his round and realised he has post left!

Proof of purchase is all you need to get the 'free' travel. So if you have to ask the club for a paper ticket to be picked up at the ground then ask them to e-mail you a proof of purchase as they have to for match by match tickets picked up at the Amex.

I really dislike this compensation culture...SO the ticket was late arriving....what have you lost?

Well, up to £6.30 really. That's the price of a return train from Haywards Heath to Falmer and I'd have to fork out for that extra bit of a train journey if my ticket didn't arrive on time (maybe coming from West or East could be more).

If there's a genuine logistical reason tickets couldn't be sent earlier then it's not the end of the world; if the club just decided to leave it late then it's bit shoddy to make people pay an extra £6.30 for something they've already paid for in the season ticket price.

Bastard postie nearly screwed it for me. He delivered mine on Friday to the main door of my building (I'm in the basement flat) and one of the tenants stuck it back in the post with 'Not at this address'. Luckily the Queens Road shop phoned me so I could go pick it up this morning.

Will be having a word with my postie tomorrow. Bugger knows what else the dozy sod has posted through the main door!

Mine hasn't arrived. Poss blessing in disguise. I haven't missed watching that mind numbingly boring crap over the last few months. It's more entertaining spending the evening at home on NSC.

It doesn't matter where we play, what division we're in, whether we employ 10 staff or 1,000, every year without fail Brighton and Hove Albion seem to think it's acceptable to deliver something worth at least £400 dangerously close to the deadline. Moronic.
My mum does that every year for mine and her grand childrens birthdays! Needless to say they always turn up late. An obsession with it arriving on the big day!

Your postie has it .. Judging by the packaging its pretty obvious whats in the envelope . with the words its finally arrived on the outside.:lolol:

Lol. Mine and my daughters arrived yesterday but my son's hasn't so I'll leave it til post comes tomorrow and if not I'll whizz up and get a ticket printed tomorrow - annoying though plus I'll have to pay his train fare too I guess - does the season ticket definitely cover your train fare???

Not often we agree. But when it comes to anything ticket related we are useless. It has always been the same and looks like always will be.

Season ticket not arrived here as yet - called the club (9 mins including hold time) who have arranged for a paper ticket for collection at the ground. Also sending through an email travel permit that will be accepted for travel. Very prompt, no fuss and good service.

Queried the replacement ticket charge in future, in case of not being able to make the game and having a ticket printed for my brother to collect in my place. The gentleman suggested that there is currently no charge, but one will be announced in the very near future. Possibly £3, and possibly by this Saturday.
